Coming back from a few holidays feels so good.
I ate too much, drank too much and obviously talked way too much.
I had a minor surgery to remove a sebaceous cyst from my neck. I also took the opportunity to build a very nice bookshelf (I am really proud of this one) in the spare room, inside of one of the closets; so it’s out of the way.
Now, I can bring all my books from the storage unit where they have been laying dormant since we moved to the new house.
The title? I was listening to a nice playlist that I created on Apple Music, for the new year and it includes the song Southern Cross from Crosby, Stills & Nash. Hence the tittle…
So, you know the usual. People have new year’s resolutions and they never complete them.
I am not making the same mistake. Instead of resolutions, I am having GOALS.
One of my goals is going to be to post here everyday. I realize I am paying for this website, the domain and every ancillary cost of maintaining a website, so I might as well use it as I am supposed to.
I was reading this super interesting article from The Verge and it made me very nostalgic for the days when I started blogging, before the advent of my most hated Social Networks.
So, I am back here, this time for good. Like it or not, read it or not.
