I guess is wishful thinking…

Here in the northeast of the United States, we are going through a pretty severe drought. The government here in Connecticut has declared drought emergencies for several counties and the farms and farmers can now apply for federal aid.

Than means corn, apples, fresh-market vegetables, poultry/eggs and dairy are going to be or are suffering from climate related events.

It all seem, somehow, better. I didn’t mind the rain back then, even though it was a harrowing trip up the north coast of the Dominican Republic, on our way to Puerto Plata.

There was a lot of rain!!

I wish we had some of that here.
