Death of The American Gas Station

So Nichola Tesla was right all along…

It has been a long time coming but our planet needs electric cars (don’t get me started on flying cars!)

So, gas stations, like the one pictured here; will be gone sometime in the future. Perhaps, replaced with charging stations for our electric vehicles.

My wife and I are sincerely considering an electric vehicle for when our current lease expires.

I was looking at the Volkswagen ID. Buzz. I guess I am nostalgic and in love with the idea of the VW bus. 😃

I was waiting for my wife at the supermarket parking lot and noticed this abandoned gas station (at least I think it’s abandoned, as there are no pumps) and did the old photographic cliché of taking a picture of a “gas station”.

I can’t wait for that time in the future when the combustion engine has all but disappeared from our lives. I know is the shoulder where civilization sprang forth but we need a less harmful way of powering transportation.

I edited the photo using Adobe Lightroom Classic, Perspective FX, and Boris Optics 2022.
