I take great joy in looking at photographs. Pictures enhance my life, make me think, and convey emotion, and sometimes they can even make me cry. So why on earth I would want to stop looking at the whole image and peek in to see how much noise there was, or try and work out how many megapixels the capture device had is beyond me.—Tim Clinch
