Pine Cone

I’m trying to loose weight…

I try to do it everyday, but sometimes is hard to get my butt out of the bed.

The one perk that I get from my little walks is the things that I find. Things on the ground, things on the air, plants, trees, electrical wire, nuts, car parts, candy wrappers and recently Pine Cones… Did you know that the pine trees are the oldest living trees on the planets. They are called Conifers and they are also called PERENNIALS! As in they always keep their leaves, no matter how cold it gets. I guess they adapted from eons and they know how to keep warm!

I found different types of pine cones (I guess it all depends on the variety) and they make great subjects.

I love their texture and how the light plays with the insides, like there’s something inside to hide (in reality that’s were the seeds are).

The thing is, that I took a couple home, to take pictures of them.

I’ll make a gallery of the pictures I took and because this things last a really long time, I can recycle them and study their surface when ever I want.
