I had the pleasure of being the main photographer for my Sister-In-Law Alex and her husband Mark.
As always one can never be too prepared… We set an appointment for me to photograph her with the wedding dress. That was to happen at my house but there was some issues with her hair and she couldn’t come. There goes the plan!!
I wound up taking pictures of the dress alone (it was at my house) and then rushing out to meet her and the dress at my Mother-In-Law’s home. we got there with only 15 minutes for a quick photo session in extremely poor light.
It was a beautiful ceremony with a somewhat large number of people that came from the must diverse parts of the world. One can say that it was a wonderful representation of the incredible Melting-Pot that one can only find in this country.
It was a semi-cloudy day and there was the threat of rain. We set out to take pictures in outside of the reception hall. The only, somewhat inconvinience, was that there were a couple of wanna-be photographers with their cell phones trying to capture the moment. I know I should’ve been more emphatic in letting them know that this was my job and that they were interrupting. Live and Learn…
Must of the family pictures were with the Groom’s family as almost no one from the Bride’s family came out to take picture, not even when we insisted…
Oh! I forgot to tell you that I was assisted by my wonderful friend Adam Khan. Thanks Adam, you are absolutely awesome!!
